Customized Student Growth Education... Ulsan Office of Education Implements Four Major Policies Ulsan Office of Education.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education has set four policy directions for this year: future-ready responsible education, student-tailored safe education, relationship-centered empathetic education, and field-supportive open administration. They plan to implement 17 unit tasks and 52 detailed tasks.


The key focus tasks include student growth customized education, education to develop future competencies, sustainable ecological environment education, and creating a mutually respectful school culture.


Major projects include ▲Grade system focused on learning growth ▲Operation of Ulsan Future Education Expo ▲Expansion of Education Welfare Connection Team ▲Creation of safe school environments ▲Spread of innovative education culture ▲Activation of Student Participation Committee ▲Establishment of transparent and clean culture ▲Construction of future-oriented empathetic educational facilities.


The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education held a 2023 major work and key project plan briefing session on the 5th at Jiphyeon Room to discuss these contents.


The briefing session, held over two days until the 6th, was attended by Acting Superintendent of Education Choi Seong-bu, Deputy Superintendent, Director of Education, Director of Administration, and Policy Officers. They reported on the 2023 major work plans and current projects by department at the bureau level and shared tasks among departments.


The contents discussed at the briefing will be re-examined and reviewed for improvements, then prioritized as major projects by each department in 2023.


On the 6th, a major work plan briefing for 12 directly affiliated institutions will be held at the Education Research Information Center, and the major work plan briefing for Gangbuk and Gangnam Education Support Offices will be held on the 9th at Gangbuk Education Support Office.


Deputy Superintendent Choi Seong-bu said, “I hope this briefing session serves as an opportunity to review the major tasks by department once again this year and strengthen the will to execute them. I ask all staff to unite their efforts throughout the year to support the educational recovery of our children and further solidify the foundation of future education.”
