Aekyung Obtains Certification for 'Green Technology' and 'Green Technology Products'

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Aekyung Industrial announced on the 5th that it has obtained the 'Green Technology' certification for its 'eco-friendly kitchen detergent manufacturing technology' and simultaneously received the 'Green Technology Product' certification for its 'Rapsin Kitchen Care Antibacterial Kitchen Detergent.'

Aekyung Industrial received the green technology certification for its 'kitchen detergent manufacturing technology that replaces antibacterial agents with naturally derived essential oils (Certification Number: GTP-22-01557).' This technology is an eco-friendly kitchen detergent manufacturing method that replaces synthetic preservatives with natural extracts and had previously obtained the 'Environmental Label Certification' from the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute in 2021.

The 'Rapsin Kitchen Care Antibacterial Kitchen Detergent (Certification Number: GTP-22-03259)' launched by Rapsin has acquired the green technology product certification. The Rapsin Kitchen Care Antibacterial Kitchen Detergent not only removes grease from dishes but also helps antibacterial cleaning at 99.9% effectiveness by applying the patented 'mustard seed essential oil antibacterial technology.'

Aekyung Industrial applied the newly certified green technology to the Rapsin Kitchen Care Antibacterial Kitchen Detergent. By replacing synthetic preservatives with naturally derived essential oils extracted from mustard seeds, the use of chemical substances was reduced. At the same time, it achieved cleaning power and antibacterial performance equivalent to the company's existing products.
