Silla University Builds Shared Platform with 5 Universities in Busan and Gyeongnam to Strengthen Regional University Competitiveness Silla University.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Silla University and six universities in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions will establish a university sharing platform to strengthen the competitiveness of local universities at Centum Hotel in Busan on the 5th.


Co-hosted by Silla University and Inje University, this event will be attended by the University Innovation Support Project Groups from six local universities, including Dongmyung University, Dongseo University, Dong-Eui University, and Changwon National University.


Project group officials will gather in one place to sign a business agreement to form a university council, and through active support among universities such as sharing achievements and promoting joint projects, they plan to lead the development of local universities.


According to the agreement, the six universities will cooperate to enhance future-oriented creative talent development and strengthen university innovation capabilities by ▲ sharing educational resources to increase university competitiveness ▲ developing and operating customized joint programs in specialized university fields ▲ sharing information and joint cooperation to revitalize projects between universities ▲ creating and spreading outcomes through human and material exchanges in industry-academia-linked education ▲ sharing and spreading excellent achievements of each university.


As the first step of the sharing project on this day, the six universities will also have time to present and discuss their respective achievement cases.


Additionally, this year, the six universities plan to join forces to enhance the competitiveness of local universities through operating joint programs among sharing universities, expanding cooperative forums, regular exchanges, and spreading achievements.


Lee Dong-yoon, head of the University Innovation Support Project Group at Silla University, said, “By establishing a university sharing platform, we will lead the creation of excellent outcomes from the University Innovation Support Project and fulfill our role for the coexistence of local universities by presenting the direction for future education with participating universities.”
