Shin Ji-ae donated 10 million won in educational support funds for adolescents bereaved by suicide.

The Korea Life Respect Hope Foundation (Chairman Hwang Tae-yeon, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on the 4th that professional golfer Shin Ji-ae contributed 10 million won as part of the 'Dream Growth Project' to help children facing mental and financial difficulties.

The Dream Growth Project is a social contribution program by the Foundation designed to help children and adolescents bereaved by suicide, who are left in social blind spots due to the suicide of their guardians, continue their education.

Since 2017, Shin Ji-ae has been continuously sharing through various means such as tuition support and donations of goods for adolescents bereaved by suicide. In 2020, she also donated 7,000 masks.

Chairman Hwang Tae-yeon of the Foundation said, “We deeply respect and thank athlete Shin Ji-ae, who has been working with the Foundation for a long time for children bereaved by suicide,” and added, “As the project name Dream Growth suggests, the Foundation will do its best to operate the program so that these children do not lose their dreams and grow into healthy members of society.”

Shin Ji-ae said, “There were many difficulties in achieving my dream of golf, but because I did not give up, I was able to practice sharing today,” and added, “I sincerely hope that children who have lost their families will grow up healthily without losing their dreams and hope.”
