Last year, during the massive snowstorm that struck the United States, major foreign media outlets reported that Jeremy Renner was seriously injured while performing snow removal work, but the exact location and details of the accident were not disclosed.

Hillary Schieve, the mayor of Reno, Nevada, who is a friend of the actor, said, "At the time of the accident, Renner was helping someone whose feet were stuck in the snow," adding, "He always helps others."

According to Renner's spokesperson, Renner was staying at a cabin near Reno with his family on New Year's Day when the heavy snowfall occurred, and he was involved in the accident while clearing snow with a snowplow.

At the time of the accident, 15 to 30 cm of snow had fallen around Reno, with some areas recording up to 45 cm of snowfall.

Renner, who was seriously injured in the chest area due to the snowplow accident, has undergone two surgeries so far and is currently recovering in the hospital's intensive care unit.

Previously, in 2015, he posted a photo on his Instagram account that appeared to show him driving a snowcat himself.

Born in 1971, Renner gained recognition through movies such as 'The Hurt Locker' and is famous domestically for his 'Hawkeye' character in the 'Avengers' series. He has also been nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Actor.
