According to the government on the 3rd, the Office for Government Policy Coordination began an on-site inspection of the KCC from the afternoon of the same day. The Office for Government Policy Coordination is a central administrative agency that assists the Prime Minister and holds the authority to direct and supervise all executive departments.
This audit is known to focus not on general organizational operations such as budget and personnel of government ministries, but on a specific matter. The Office for Government Policy Coordination is expected to scrutinize the process by which the KCC appointed some members of the boards of public broadcasters KBS and EBS.
