Phoenix Pyeongchang Offers Free Ski Lessons to Guests

Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park announced on the 3rd that it will offer free beginner ski experience lessons for guests until next month.

The experience lessons are held twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, each lasting 2 hours. Guests can apply for the lessons through a notification message sent after booking a room at Phoenix Pyeongchang. The lessons are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, and equipment rental for the lessons is also provided free of charge by Phoenix Pyeongchang.

For those who want to learn skiing more systematically, they can use the Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow School. The lessons are conducted by a top-tier team certified by the Korea Ski Instructors Association and the Korea Ski Resort Management Association, and are divided into Premium Kids, General Lessons, and Masters Club. Among these, the Premium Kids lessons are especially popular during the winter vacation season.

Premium Kids is a child-tailored program that includes ski lessons, lift tickets, equipment rental, meals, and snacks. It is designed for elementary school students and preschool children (aged 5 and above; preschool children can only take one-on-one lessons). Prioritizing safety, the lessons take place on a dedicated Snow School slope. The lesson duration is 4 hours total for full-day lessons (2 hours each in the morning and afternoon) and 2 hours for half-day lessons.

Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park started its new season on the 2nd of last month. Visitor numbers increased by more than 38% compared to the same period last year during the first month of opening. One of the popular programs at Phoenix Pyeongchang is Snow Village. It is designed for customers who cannot ski or have young children who find skiing difficult. Guests can use Snow Village admission tickets at a 30% discount on weekdays and 20% discount on weekends.
