Pizza Alvolo introduces 'Ssohot Pizza'... "3-level spiciness"

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Pizza Alvolo announced on the 3rd that it has newly launched the ‘So Hot Pizza,’ targeting those with so-called ‘Maepusim’ (pride in eating very spicy food) with an extreme level of spiciness.

The So Hot Sauce used in So Hot Pizza has a Scoville rating of 9298 (level 3 standard), which is twice as spicy as Buldak Bokkeum Myun (Scoville rating 4400). In particular, customers can choose from up to three levels of spiciness to experience various degrees of heat.

So Hot Pizza features domestic ingredients such as Sumi potatoes and Major King sausage containing 91% domestic pork, along with Cheongyang chili peppers and spicy chicken, arranged half and half to provide a variety of generous toppings that deliver both texture and flavor.

Level 1 offers a spiciness comparable to spicy ramen, while level 2 boasts a heat that numbs the mouth and tongue. Level 3 is an extreme spiciness that can bring tears, so customers sensitive to spicy food?such as those who are fasting, pregnant women, the elderly, children, or people with gastritis?should exercise caution when consuming it.

Meanwhile, Pizza Alvolo plans to capture the hearts of Korean customers enthusiastic about spicy food by releasing a YouTube video featuring singer Yoon Minsoo, famous for his emotional vocal technique, coinciding with the launch of So Hot Pizza.
