The Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council held a New Year's ceremony following the New Year's visits to the 3·15 Democratic Cemetery and the Memorial Tower to commemorate the Year of the Rabbit.

Attending the New Year's visits to the 3·15 Democratic Cemetery and the Memorial Tower for the year of the Black Rabbit were Chairman Kim Jin-bu, First Vice Chairman Choi Hak-beom, Second Vice Chairman Kang Yong-beom, Planning and Administration Committee Chairman Park Jun, Construction and Fire Committee Chairman Park Hae-young, and People Power Party Floor Leader Jo Young-je.

Chairman Kim Jin-bu wrote in the guestbook, "Honoring the noble sacrifices of the 3·15 martyrs, I will do my best to make Gyeongnam a better place to live," expressing his strong determination to commemorate the patriotic spirits and to carry out a council worthy of the residents of Gyeongnam in the year of the Black Rabbit.

Following this, the New Year's ceremony was held with the participation of Chairman Kim Jin-bu, First Vice Chairman Choi Hak-beom, Second Vice Chairman Kang Yong-beom, and all staff of the Council Secretariat.

At the ceremony, Chairman Kim Jin-bu presented commendations to those who contributed to the work in 2022 and awarded appointment letters to those promoted, transferred, and newly appointed.

Chairman Kim said, "I ask the staff to actively support the council members' legislative activities to fulfill the council's fundamental role of checking and overseeing the executive branch."
