[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Yoon Poong-young, President of SK㈜ C&C, expressed his ambition to make 2023, the 'Year of the Black Rabbit,' the inaugural year for advancing as the No. 1 digital IT service partner in Korea.


On the 2nd, President Yoon stated in his New Year's address, "Last year, we established ourselves as a key player in the cloud market by achieving 100% cloud transition for major group member companies and modernizing the next-generation app for Hyundai Home Shopping." He also evaluated, "We achieved results in creating future growth engines in the digital IT service sector through our entry into the automation logistics business for battery factory returns overseas with SKOn."


President Yoon revealed three plans to leap forward as the No. 1 digital IT service partner in Korea by 2030.


First, President Yoon said, "We will build a customer-centric digital IT service system," explaining, "In addition to the technical consulting we currently possess, we will secure business consulting to strengthen our consulting capabilities that can lead customers' digital transformation."


He emphasized, "We will create new growth engines for the future." He stated, "We will develop growth-oriented business areas that can surpass the limitations of the domestic market, such as digital factories, into our signature businesses, and actively pursue global expansion centered on cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence (AI)."


To restore customer trust, the company also plans to enhance fundamental business competitiveness. President Yoon said, "We will strengthen business proposal support functions and the training of PMs (Project Managers) and architects (system designers) to establish a field-centered company-wide delivery system aimed at achieving ‘On-time, On-budget, In-quality,’ and through this, we will recover business execution capabilities at the top-tier domestic level."


Additionally, President Yoon promised to implement key initiatives including ▲strengthening collaboration systems ▲enhancing direct offline communication among members ▲cultivating a culture that pursues the highest level of expertise ▲and advancing management infrastructure.
