Lee Jong-suk's agency HighZium Studio stated on the 31st, "The two have recently developed from close colleagues to a romantic relationship and are continuing a serious relationship." IU's agency Edam Entertainment also admitted the dating rumors on the same day, saying, "The two have been close colleagues for a long time and recently developed into a romantic relationship."
Previously, the dating rumors between IU and Lee Jong-suk surfaced through an online media outlet, Dispatch. The outlet reported that the two have been dating for four months and recently spent the Christmas holidays together in Nagoya, Japan.
