Daichi Launches 2023 New Product ‘OneFix360 Season 2 i-Size’ Car Seat

Daichi Co., Ltd., a South Korean car seat specialist brand, announced on the 2nd that it has launched the upgraded model of the OneFix360, which has been loved by customers as the national car seat, called the ‘OneFix360 Season2 i-Size’ car seat.

The OneFix360 Season2 i-Size car seat is the first domestically produced car seat in Korea to receive the European i-Size certification. It is encouraging that a Korean brand has obtained the i-Size certification through domestic technology in a car seat market dominated by many European brands. In addition to the i-Size certification, it further proved its safety by conducting the world’s first real-vehicle crash test for car seat safety evaluation.

Other various product specifications are also noteworthy. When installed rear-facing, which is five times safer than front-facing installation, it received i-Size certification for children up to a maximum height of 105 cm and weight of 18 kg. This is the first for a domestic brand.

Furthermore, it retains the one-hand rotation function, which was an advantage of the previous model, considering parents’ convenience, and features an indicator system that allows users to easily check visually whether the car seat is installed and used correctly, highlighting the user-centered design. Unlike typical inner seats that adjust in only 2 to 3 steps, the inner seat can be adjusted in a total of 5 steps according to the child’s growth, which is one of its major advantages. It is also the only i-Size certified car seat to apply polyurethane foam to the seat, which can be considered a distinctive point. According to company officials, it provides a soft cushioning when the child is seated, maintaining comfort even during long periods of use in the car seat.

A Daichi official stated, “It is meaningful that the OneFix360 Season2 i-Size car seat is the first MADE IN KOREA car seat to receive the European i-Size certification, but more importantly, it shows why domestically produced car seats are good.” He added, “According to some data, Korean children have shorter height but weigh more compared to European children, based on boys. In other words, Korean children have a larger body volume, so when they use European car seats made based on European children’s standards, they feel uncomfortable or cannot use them for long. The OneFix360 Season2 i-Size car seat is made to fit the body shape of Korean children, making it more comfortable and allowing longer use.”

Meanwhile, the OneFix360 Season2 i-Size car seat will be available for the first time at the Moms Holic Baby Fair held from January 5th to 8th, and various gifts will also be provided, an industry official explained.
