According to financial sources on the 28th, Kim is considered the leading candidate for the next president of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea. Kim has served as head of the Consumer Protection Group, head of the Management Strategy Group, and CEO of IBK Capital at IBK Industrial Bank of Korea.
The president of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea is appointed by the president of the country upon the recommendation of the Financial Services Commission chairman, without a separate public recruitment or the formation of an executive recommendation committee.
