LH Korea Land and Housing Corporation announced on Wednesday, the 28th, that it plans to proceed with the public sale of the Bucheon Wonjong B2 Block Newlywed Hope Town.


The housing complex for sale this time is the Newlywed Hope Town located in Wonjong-dong, Bucheon City, within the Bucheon Wonjong district (a total of 591 households: 394 public sale units and 197 happy housing units). It is located just 2 km from Yangcheon and Gangseo districts in Seoul, offering excellent accessibility to Seoul, and the Wonjong Station on the Seohae Line is also scheduled to open nearby. Additionally, the Bucheon Daejang district of the 3rd New Town is close by, promising significant benefits such as improved transportation as the development of the 3rd New Town progresses in earnest.


The 394 public sale units to be supplied consist of 46-type (80 units) and 55-type (314 units). These are public housing units specialized for newlyweds, targeting newlywed couples married within 7 years, couples with children under 6 years old, prospective newlyweds, and single-parent families. The complex will include various childcare-focused community facilities such as daycare centers, indoor playgrounds, a shared care center, and a toy library. In addition, Bucheon Wonil Elementary School is located right in front of the complex, providing excellent educational conditions.


In the current high-interest-rate environment where rates are rising daily, it is noteworthy that by using the exclusive loan for Newlywed Hope Town, one can receive a loan of up to 70% of the house price (with a limit of 400 million KRW) at a fixed interest rate 1.3% lower per annum for up to 30 years. This is a policy benefit exclusive to Newlywed Hope Town that cannot be enjoyed in other general public sale housing.


The housing supply price is also subject to the price ceiling system, ranging from approximately 340 million to 420 million KRW. Not only is the price reasonably set, but winners are only subject to a 3-year resale restriction without any residency obligation, which is another advantage.


Applications will be accepted through the LH Application Center. The supply process will proceed in the order of pre-application winners’ application (January 10-11, 2023), general application (January 12-13, 2023), announcement of winners (January 26, 2023), and contract signing (May 2023).


Move-in for the Bucheon Wonjong B2 Block Newlywed Hope Town public sale complex is scheduled for December 2025. In 2023, only the deposit needs to be paid, and the remaining 70% will be paid at move-in, significantly reducing the burden of interim payments.
