[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] On the 27th, the Economic, Tourism and Culture Committee of the Jeonnam Provincial Council presented a plaque of appreciation to Lee Geon-seop, Head of the Jeonnam Provincial Job Economy Headquarters, at the Provincial Council.

Head Lee, who will enter honorary retirement in January next year, began his public service career in 1991 and has served as spokesperson for Jeonnam Province, head of the Energy Industry Division, investment attraction officer, and deputy governor of Gangjin County.

He is known as an expert in various provincial government tasks such as fostering local high-tech industries, attracting domestic and foreign investment companies, and promoting key policies.

In particular, he is recognized for contributing to Jeonnam Province’s receipt of the “Presidential Award” in the 2022 National Local Government Job Awards through job creation within the province, expansion of investment attraction, and fostering social enterprises.

Chairman Lee Cheol said, “We appreciate Head Lee’s dedication over the past 31 years for the development and leap of Jeonnam Province, and we ask for his continued advice and cooperation based on his long public service experience even after retirement.”
