Introduction to Employment/Internship at Robot Companies

The Intelligent Robot Innovation Shared University Project Group (Director Park Tae-joon), hosted by Hanyang University ERICA Campus, announced that on the 26th, it held 'Doosan Robotics Day' together with job seekers in the intelligent robot field participating in the CO-Week Academy at the Hanyang Institute of Technology in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
CO-Week is a pop-up campus of the Shared University, hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the National Research Foundation of Korea.
From the 26th to the 29th, students can attend lectures in eight new technology fields including intelligent robots, artificial intelligence, big data, next-generation semiconductors, future automobiles, bio-health, immersive media, and new energy industries, both online and on-site at COEX in Samseong-dong, as well as special lectures by prominent figures leading industries and trends, all free of charge.
This Doosan Robotics Day was organized as an event to introduce employment and internship opportunities at robotics companies and explain Doosan Robotics' recruiting program by inviting 100 students majoring in AI and robotics from Hanyang University ERICA, the host university of the Intelligent Robot Innovation Shared University, and participating universities including Kwangwoon University, Pukyong National University, Sangmyung University, Yeungjin College, Chosun University, and Korea Polytechnic University.
Doosan Robotics gave a special lecture titled "The Future Robots (ROBOT) Entering Everyday Life" for job seekers, sharing the current status and prospects of the robotics industry, an introduction to Doosan Robotics' collaborative robots, and HR information.
Section Chief Ahn Gyu-hak of Doosan Robotics stated, "By holding this Doosan Robotics Day together with the Intelligent Robot Innovation Shared University, we aimed to enhance understanding of Doosan Robotics' main tasks, and we hope that the practical recruiting information will be helpful to students majoring in intelligent robots."
Director Park Tae-joon said, "This program was a meaningful time to receive and share vivid employment and job information from Doosan Robotics, the number one collaborative robot company in Korea. Next year, we plan to organize and operate a job and career exploration week exclusively for university (graduate) students majoring in intelligent robots, tailored to the perspectives of large corporations, mid-sized companies, and small and medium venture businesses."
Meanwhile, the Intelligent Robot Innovation Shared University Project is a digital new technology talent cultivation innovation shared university project supported by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, aiming to eliminate educational gaps between regions and universities and establish a national-level core talent cultivation system in advanced fields. Hanyang University ERICA Campus is the lead university of the Intelligent Robot Innovation Shared University consortium, conducting the project together with Kwangwoon University, Pukyong National University, Sangmyung University, Yeungjin College, Chosun University, and Korea Polytechnic University from 2021 to 2026 for six years.
