People Power Party Gwangju Branch "Will Include New Construction Project of Jeonnam National University Hospital in Preliminary Feasibility Study"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The People Power Party Gwangju Metropolitan City Party has promised to ensure that the new construction project of Jeonnam National University Hospital is included in the government's preliminary feasibility study.


The People Power Party Gwangju City Party held a press conference at the National Assembly on the morning of the 26th and stated, "We will actively strive to pass the preliminary feasibility study regarding the new construction of Jeonnam National University Hospital at the Ministry of Strategy and Finance's Fiscal Project Evaluation Committee meeting scheduled for the 27th."


Attendees at the press conference included Seong Il-jong, Chairman of the Policy Committee of the People Power Party, Kim Jeong-hyun, Chairman of the People Power Party Gwangju City Party, Moon Choong-sik, Chairman of the Gwangju Dongnam-eul Party Committee, Ahn Young-geun, Director of Jeonnam National University Hospital, and Yoon Kyung-chul, Director of Planning and Coordination at Jeonnam National University Hospital.


Policy Committee Chairman Seong Il-jong said, "It was regrettable that Jeonnam National University Hospital was excluded from the Ministry of Strategy and Finance's preliminary feasibility study due to administrative procedural shortcomings last August," adding, "At tomorrow's Fiscal Project Evaluation Committee meeting, we will make sure it is included in the preliminary feasibility study."


He continued, "The party branch has repeatedly stated that the People Power Party will take responsibility for the new construction of Jeonnam National University Hospital," and said, "We will pay attention to and work to resolve the issues concerning Gwangju and Jeonnam."


Ahn Young-geun, Director of Jeonnam National University Hospital, emphasized, "If the preliminary feasibility study passes, we will build a future-oriented new smart hospital equipped with a convergent digital medical system," and added, "We will bridge the health gap with the metropolitan area and provide various medical services to local residents."


Kim Jeong-hyun, Chairman of the Gwangju City Party, stated, "We will work hard so that the new Jeonnam National University Hospital can be built to benefit the citizens of Gwangju and Jeonnam," and said, "We have strongly requested the central party to select the new Jeonnam National University Hospital as a project subject to the preliminary feasibility study."
