[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Mulliner, the bespoke service division of Bentley Motors, announced on the 26th that the number of individual orders this year has surpassed 500. After reaching a cumulative total of 1,000 orders from 2014 to last year, it recorded 1,500 orders within one year, marking an increase of more than five times compared to 2018.

Bentley Mulliner is the world's oldest coachbuilder, responsible for the development and production of iconic models such as the R-Type Continental in the 1950s. Since its official acquisition by Bentley Motors in 1959, it has been exclusively in charge of producing Bentley's bespoke models.

They offer a new level of bespoke service by presenting various personalized models reflecting the diverse tastes of Bentley customers, including Bentley's limited edition models like the Bacalar and Batur, as well as the historical Bentley classic, the Blower, which has been restored and reproduced as a limited edition.

The owner of this year's 500th Mulliner bespoke service is a British customer who ordered the Flying Spur S Hybrid. The exterior design features a combination of the new exterior color ‘Spark’ Blue with Blackline specifications, while the interior design harmonizes monochrome Carbon Fire veneer and Klein Blue leather seats.

Paul Dickinson, Head of Mulliner and Motorsport Product Management, said, “Achieving 500 orders would have been difficult without the continuous support of the Bentley Design Studio and the Mulliner team.”

Meanwhile, all Bentley models sold domestically are equipped with Mulliner driving specifications, including Mulliner 22-inch wheels and Diamond-in-Diamond quilting.
