Budget Secured for Emergency Restoration Project of Changpyeong Traditional Market Fire, Pilot Construction of Smart Disaster Relief System

The projects funded by the special grant include ▲ Changpyeong Traditional Market Fire Emergency Restoration Project (300 million KRW) ▲ Bamboo Museum Cultural Complex Space Creation Project (300 million KRW) ▲ Daejeon-myeon Daejeon-ro Pedestrian Environment Improvement Project (300 million KRW) ▲ Rural Road No. 102 (Damyang Samman) Slope Reinforcement Project (500 million KRW) ▲ Pyeongjije Irrigation Facility Repair Project (300 million KRW) ▲ Smart Disaster Relief System Pilot Construction Project (500 million KRW).
In particular, with this special grant, prompt action was taken to restore damages caused by the fire at Changpyeong Traditional Market on the 10th, and through the pilot construction of the smart disaster relief system, rapid response to various disasters has become possible.
County Governor Lee Byeongno said, “Securing this special grant is a valuable achievement obtained through strategic cooperation between Damyang-gun and National Assembly member Lee Gaeho of the local constituency,” adding, “We will continue to build close cooperative relationships with the National Assembly and central government ministries to secure national and local government funding.”
