Chairman Lee Eoryong of Daesin Financial Group Donates Funds to Naju and Goesan

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Daishin Financial Group has donated love funds to socially marginalized groups.

Daishin Securities announced on the 20th that Lee Yeo-ryong, chairman of Daishin Financial Group, delivered love funds to social welfare facilities in Naju City, Jeollanam-do, and Goesan County, Chungcheongbuk-do. This 'Love Fund Delivery' to help marginalized groups in Naju, Jeollanam-do, and Goesan, Chungcheongbuk-do, began in 2004 and marked its 19th year this year. The love funds are used to support multicultural family support centers, social welfare facilities, childcare facilities for the physically disabled, and infant care facilities in the Naju and Goesan areas. Along with the funds, Chairman Lee also delivered more than 1,700 pieces of clothing.

Under the corporate philosophy of 'returning corporate profits to society,' Daishin Financial Group conducts various social contribution activities every year, including scholarship projects, national health support projects, and child support projects. Prior to this love fund delivery, Daishin Financial Group actively supported national medical and health projects. In October, it donated development funds to Ewha Womans University College of Pharmacy, and in November, it provided a second sponsorship fund to Seoul Asan Medical Center to support medical expenses for premature infants and other uses.

Founded in 1991 by the late Chairman Yang Jae-bong, who used his personal fortune, the Daishin Songchon Cultural Foundation is responsible for Daishin Financial Group's social contribution activities. The love fund delivery started with scholarships for financially struggling students in the early days and expanded to cover medical expenses for children with congenital disabilities, support for medical institutions, and social welfare facilities. To date, approximately 17 billion KRW in funds have been delivered to various social sectors in need of assistance.
