[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Visang Education is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as a result of the government's announcement to expand educational programs such as coding and big data by promoting private sector participation in elementary schools.
As of 9:15 AM on the 19th, Visang Education is trading at 6,520 KRW, up 3.33% compared to the previous day.
On the previous day, Park Jeongha, the floor spokesperson of the People Power Party, discussed the introduction plan of the ‘Elementary Neulbom School,’ which will allow elementary students to receive customized education and care services until 8 PM starting from 2025, during the briefing on the results of the 6th High-level Party-Government Council.
They plan to provide various educational programs such as basic academic support for lower grades and arts and physical education, and gradually expand morning and evening care services for dual-income families. For upper grades, high-quality after-school programs such as AI (artificial intelligence), coding, big data, small group, and level-based courses will be expanded through the activation of private sector participation.
Visang Education has launched and is supplying the elementary smart education device ‘Smart Wise Camp’ in partnership with Microsoft Korea (Korea MS). Visang Education’s Wise Camp is an Intel-certified smart learning device that blocks harmful environments.
In particular, for coding education, a ‘premium learning’ program is provided. It offers coding education through menus such as ‘Basics of Computers,’ ‘Basics of Coding,’ ‘Entry Master,’ ‘Scratch Master,’ and ‘Ani Software Coding.’
