콘진원, Maple Investment Partners and Six Others Sign Business Agreement

Concrete Support for Investment and Management at New Contents Enterprise Support Center

In September, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) established the New Content Enterprise Support Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and on the 15th, signed a business agreement with seven investment and management support organizations. The investment institutions include Maple Investment Partners, SM Culture Partners, and Isu Startup Investment, while the management support organizations are Law Firm Byeol, Donghwa Labor Corporation, Creaction, and Wanted Lab. Moving forward, they will jointly plan and operate startup capacity-building programs and discover and nurture promising new technology convergence content startups. Based on their networks, information, and infrastructure, they will provide consulting on investment, recruitment, and mergers and acquisitions to alleviate difficulties in business management.

The beneficiaries are early-stage new technology convergence content companies residing in the New Content Enterprise Support Center. They are already receiving support from KOCCA, including office space, production support facilities, business spaces, and customized accelerating programs. Cho Hyun-rae, the head of KOCCA, stated, "It is important to produce and disseminate new content that keeps pace with new technologies and industry trend changes," and promised, "We will provide multifaceted support to discover and nurture startups with competitive content and technological capabilities."
