Polaris Office Selected as a Family-Friendly Certified Company... "Leading Work-Life Balance"

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Polaris Office announced on the 15th that it has been selected as a family-friendly certified company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.


The family-friendly certification system is a program in which the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family grants certification through evaluation to companies that exemplary operate support for childbirth and child-rearing, flexible working systems, and the creation of family-friendly workplace culture.


Polaris Office is exemplary in operating maternity protection systems such as parental leave and reduced working hours. In particular, it received high evaluations in improving work-life balance by actively utilizing flexible working systems such as telecommuting and selective working hours. The company will maintain its family-friendly certified company status until November 2025.


A Polaris Office official stated, “We implement various welfare systems to improve the quality of life of our employees,” and added, “For increasing the company’s value, the happiness of employees is important, and work-life balance must lead to job satisfaction so that both individuals and the company can grow together, which is our management policy.”


He continued, “To this end, a system that can flexibly respond to work even remotely is well established,” and said, “We will also expand our collaboration tool business centered on the global office software ‘Polaris Office.’”


Meanwhile, Polaris Office is introducing innovative working systems and welfare programs to improve the working environment. This year, it implemented a full telecommuting system for local talent, and last year, it proactively introduced COVID-19 vaccine leave ahead of the industry. In 2020, it received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award in the work-life balance category for implementing flexible working systems, rotating telecommuting, and staggered commuting hours.
