GC·GC Green Cross Selected Simultaneously as 'Family-Friendly Excellent Companies'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] GC (Green Cross Holdings) and GC Green Cross announced on the 14th that they have been selected as 'Family-Friendly Excellent Companies' by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

The Family-Friendly Certification is a system in which the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family grants certification to companies that exemplary operate family-friendly systems in accordance with the "Act on the Promotion of Creating Family-Friendly Social Environments." Certification can be obtained through document screening, employee satisfaction surveys, and on-site inspections by the institution.

GC and GC Green Cross operate various customized programs supporting employees' work-family balance from childbirth to childcare. In particular, they received high evaluations for ▲ high usage and return rates of parental leave ▲ active utilization of flexible work systems such as staggered working hours and telecommuting ▲ establishment of a culture of leaving work on time through the PC-OFF system ▲ operation of child academic guidance programs ▲ provision of family vacation facilities during holiday seasons. They also operate workplace daycare centers to create a working environment where childcare and work can be balanced.

A GC official said, "We plan to develop more diverse welfare policies and programs in the future to create a 'great workplace' that helps balance work and life."
