[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Daesang announced on the 14th that it is recruiting the 11th class of the ‘Cheongjeongwon Housewives Volunteer Group’ until the 22nd.
The Cheongjeongwon Housewives Volunteer Group is open to any women aged 20 or older who have been interested in volunteer work and cooking but have not had suitable opportunities. A total of 280 people will be recruited, and applications can be submitted through the Daesang social contribution website. Winners will be announced and notified individually on the 28th.
Those selected for the Cheongjeongwon Housewives Volunteer Group will participate in weekday cooking volunteer activities once a month by region, practicing sharing and meeting new neighbors. Activity areas include major cities nationwide such as Seoul, Gyeonggi (Bucheon, Seongnam, Ansan), Incheon, Daejeon, Wonju, Gunsan, Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan.
If accepted into the 11th class of the Cheongjeongwon Housewives Volunteer Group, participants will receive support and benefits such as ▲ recognition of all volunteer activities in the VMS (Volunteer Management System) ▲ provision of uniforms (volunteer vest, apron, etc.) ▲ a small souvenir when participating in Daesang Group social contribution events ▲ participation in housewives volunteer group workshops.
Kwangjoo Na, Head of Daesang ESG Management Office, said, “The Cheongjeongwon Housewives Volunteer Group has been a mainstay in creating Daesang’s social contribution activities over the past 10 years,” and added, “We are waiting for numerous applicants nationwide who will join Daesang employees in continuing volunteer activities for local communities.”
