Asset Checkup with MyData... KB Expands Customized Asset Management

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Kookmin Bank is revamping its customized asset management service. Utilizing MyData (personal credit information management) services, the bank plans to manage the entire investment journey from customer analysis to post-management without being restricted by time or location.

On the 12th, KB Kookmin Bank announced that it has expanded and revamped the customized asset management service provided through KB Star Banking.

Through this revamp, KB Kookmin Bank has organically linked key services to ensure completeness in the investment journey, which includes ▲customer analysis ▲market analysis ▲new product introduction ▲post-management.

The investment journey reflects information shared from other financial institutions via MyData, allowing asset allocation proportions to be checked through asset analysis and diagnosis, followed by asset management type analysis (WMTI). Then, in the KB Market Outlook and AI Market Outlook menus, users compare market forecasts to set investment directions. In the Financial Investment Product Center, customers can search for investment products according to their desired conditions and subscribe to the most suitable product among various types through the K-Bot Saem portfolio. After subscription, customers can receive post-management services through an investment health checkup and regularly monitor their assets with subscription alerts.

In particular, the ‘Investment Health Checkup’ is a service that examines the current operational status of investment products such as funds and fund portfolios subscribed to by customers, suggesting additional deposits, maintenance, redemption, or rebalancing. It provides guidance for customers who have found it difficult to find appropriate management methods after subscribing to funds. Like a doctor’s examination, it categorizes the funds held by customers as ‘Strong,’ ‘Normal,’ or ‘Caution’ to present diagnostic results in an easy-to-understand manner.

Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank is also holding a promotional event to celebrate the expansion and revamp of its asset management service until the end of January next year. Customers who experience asset management services such as the WMTI test, KB Market Outlook, goal achievement portfolio design, and subscription alerts through KB Star Banking will be entered into a draw to receive Starbucks mobile coupons for 1,000 people. Additionally, new subscribers to the K-Bot Saem portfolio will be entered into a draw to win prizes including an iPhone 14 PRO, LG Styler, Dyson Airwrap, and Samsung Galaxy Watch4.

A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "We plan to continuously enhance related content to provide a comprehensive non-face-to-face asset management service."
