[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] JW Pharmaceutical announced on the 9th that it has obtained Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) certification from the Fair Trade Commission. At the award ceremony held at Lotte Hotel World in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Shin Young-seop, CEO of JW Pharmaceutical, attended and personally received the CCM certificate.
The CCM certification is a system that evaluates whether a company organizes all its activities centered on consumers and continuously improves related management activities. It is certified by the Fair Trade Commission and supervised by the Korea Consumer Agency. JW Pharmaceutical received high marks for its efforts to reflect the consumer perspective throughout its organizational operations.
In April, JW Pharmaceutical formed a Consumer-Centered Management Committee, with CEO Shin Young-seop personally serving as the chair to manage and operate the organization, promoting customer-centric management activities company-wide. The head of the Compliance Management Division was appointed as the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) to strengthen the consumer rights protection system.
Based on the slogan, "Today's satisfaction given to consumers creates our shared tomorrow," CCM education and meetings to improve customer requirements (VOC) are conducted to raise awareness among employees. Reflecting consumer opinions, JW Pharmaceutical enhanced consumer satisfaction and prevented complaints by applying a color system by disease to prescription drug packages to make products more clearly distinguishable.
CEO Shin Young-seop stated, "JW Pharmaceutical is striving to create a sustainable future by expanding the founding spirit of respect for life into consumer-centered management," and added, "We will continue to prioritize consumers in our management activities and establish ourselves as a pharmaceutical company leading in enhancing customer value."
