Dong-Eui Science University Signs Industry-Academic Cooperation Agreement with Spanish Prestigious Sports School Valencia CF Academy

Dong-Eui Science University and Valencia CF Academy are signing an industry-academic cooperation agreement.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui Institute of Technology signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Valencia CF Academy on the 2nd to foster sports professionals.

Attending the agreement ceremony were Lee Hwa-seok, Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation Group, Song Min-young, Director of DIT Sports Rehabilitation Center, Choi Kyung-soo, CEO of Busan Valencia CF Academy, Joan Aguado, Executive Director of Valencia CF Academy in Spain, Vicente Roch, Professional Coordinator, and other officials from both institutions.

This agreement was established to effectively utilize educational and industrial resources and to lead mutual groundbreaking development.

The main contents of the agreement include ▲ cooperation in tasks related to industry-commissioned education ▲ provision of technical information and research data between the two parties ▲ joint development and implementation of major curricula ▲ mutual use of facilities and equipment owned by both institutions.

Lee Hwa-seok, Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation Group, said, “Through this agreement, we will support receiving professional and systematic education and closely cooperate with Valencia CF Academy in various fields such as nurturing sports professionals through industry-customized education.”

Valencia CF Academy directly trained Lee Kang-in, the best player of the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup and a member of the South Korean national team at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, since his elementary school days.
