[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is achieving significant results through its 'Customized On-site Corporate Training' program aimed at strengthening the capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province.

The Customized On-site Corporate Training is a project designed for SMEs that find it difficult to conduct employee training on their own. It develops training courses tailored to the characteristics of each company, providing expert-led training services at the time and place desired by the company.

This year, the agency has conducted a total of 47 customized training sessions, graduating 852 trainees. Furthermore, it plans to add 4 sessions of year-end tax settlement practical skills training to meet demand at the end of the year. This will bring the total number of graduates from the customized training to over 900.

Additionally, the agency has been operating customized training for partner companies of Yuhan-Kimberly under a 9-year agreement, producing 1,386 graduates. The main training courses include ▲Hierarchy & Leadership ▲Marketing & Customer Service ▲Management Strategy & Planning ▲Production and Quality, among others.

Beyond these courses, the agency designs and operates training programs according to any educational needs requested by companies. Companies wishing to receive training can consult with the agency’s education staff to arrange the training program and schedule.

Yoo Seung-kyung, Director of the agency, stated, "Education is not an option but a necessity for corporate development and talent cultivation," adding, "We will continue to do our best to strengthen the human resources capabilities of SMEs through customer-centered, on-site customized training support."
