Smart Unmanned Laundry 'Laundry24' Surpasses 100 Stores

Smart Unmanned Laundry 'Laundry24' Surpasses 100 Stores

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Lundrigo's smart unmanned laundromat 'Laundry24' has surpassed 100 franchise stores. Uisikju Company (CEO Jo Seong-woo), which operates the non-face-to-face mobile laundry service 'Lundrigo,' announced on the 8th that it surpassed 100 stores about eight months after launching Laundry24 last April.

Laundry24 currently operates 7 stores in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, 6 in Mapo-gu, and 4 in Yongsan-gu, rapidly expanding mainly in areas with many single-person households such as officetels. In the Gyeonggi region, there are 7 stores in Hwaseong-si, 5 in Hanam-si, and 4 each in Goyang, Namyangju, and Suwon-si, showing a steady increase centered on new towns.

Laundry24 is characterized by integrating dry cleaning services into the existing coin wash (laundromat) function and operating in a fully unmanned manner. The headquarters supports services from laundry management to customer response. Since office workers and freelancers can operate it alongside their main jobs, more than 98% of franchise owners manage it concurrently with their primary occupations.

Additionally, Laundry24 is currently being piloted in 5 community centers of large apartment complexes with over 1,500 households and plans to expand actively from next year. It has also been installed in 5 locations at Samsung Electronics research centers as an employee welfare program, with plans to add 2 more locations under consideration.
