[Asia Economy Reporter Tae-won Choi] Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson (both from the United States) will face off in a PGA Tour event.

On the 9th (local time), the QBE Shootout (total prize money $3.8 million) will be held at Tiburon Golf Club (par 72, 7,382 yards) in Naples, Florida. Twelve teams with 24 players will compete over three days in a 54-hole event.

Korda and Thompson will each team up with Danny McCarthy and Maverick McNealy (both from the United States), respectively.

Korda and McCarthy's strength lies in their boldness. At 24 and 29 years old, they have the youngest average age. Neither has previous experience in the QBE Shootout.

On the other hand, Thompson and McNealy rely on their experience. This is Thompson's sixth time participating in the tournament. Since 2016, she has competed alongside Bryson DeChambeau, Tony Finau, Sean O'Hair, and Bubba Watson (all from the United States).

Meanwhile, Korean player Kyung-hoon Lee, who achieved back-to-back wins at this year's PGA Tour AT&T Byron Nelson, will team up with Corey Conners (Canada).
