[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Kakao Mobility announced on the 7th that it has developed Kakao T's unique brand fragrance, 'Slow Green,' to enhance customer experience and will pilot it in 'Kakao T Venti' vehicles.
'Slow Green' is a signature fragrance brand that embodies Kakao T's service value of "providing a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience." It was created in collaboration with marketing specialist company Centon through a development process lasting about a year, capturing the brand's unique sensibility.
Kakao Mobility aims to firmly establish its brand identity using fragrance so that taxis can transform from simple means of transportation into special spaces where differentiated services are experienced.
The preferences of Kakao T Venti drivers regarding the fragrance and installation methods were reflected, and to increase usability in the field, it was composed of two types: paper air fresheners and room sprays. It also received safety certification by meeting the Ministry of Environment's designated 'Safety Standards for Household Chemical Products' and 'Non-use of Prohibited Substances.'
The 'Slow Green' fragrance is being piloted in 'Kakao T Venti,' a taxi service based on large vans and premium licenses, and can be experienced in about 1,000 Venti vehicles currently in operation. It is expected to be expanded to various mobility services, including autonomous driving services currently in pilot operation.
Ahn Gyu-jin, Vice President and Head of Business Division at Kakao Mobility, said, "Based on Kakao Mobility's service vision of providing differentiated experiences beyond physical movement, we introduced this brand signature fragrance." He added, "Like this attempt to make the identity of 'comfortable and enjoyable travel experience' memorable through fragrance, we will continue to develop branding efforts for services on the Kakao T platform."
