Hampyeong-gun Wins Autonomous Building Number Plate Contest Award

Participation in Excellent Installation Category... Awarded Grand Prize and Encouragement Prize

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it received the Grand Prize and Encouragement Award in the Excellent Installation category of the ‘2022 Autonomous Building Number Plate Contest’ hosted by Jeollanam-do.

An autonomous building number plate refers to a building number plate that can be freely designed, manufactured, and installed, unlike the standard building number plates.

This contest, held to promote road name addresses and improve urban aesthetics, was divided into two categories: ‘Excellent Installation’ and ‘Design’, and was held until October 31.

Hampyeong-gun participated in the Excellent Installation category and was honored to receive the Grand Prize and Encouragement Award for the autonomous building number plates of ‘Jangnyeon-gil 40’ and ‘Janggun-ro 926-12’, respectively.

It is known that Hampyeong-gun received high scores in the secondary city judging committee because the building’s purpose and the number plate were harmoniously produced.

Jang Jeongjin, Head of the Civil Service Office, said, “We plan to continue expanding the installation of distinctive and beautiful autonomous building number plates to improve urban aesthetics.”
