[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] On the 6th, a total of 18 people were promoted in the regular executive personnel appointments at Samsung SDI.


Samsung SDI conducted regular promotions for a total of 18 people, including 4 vice presidents, 13 general managers, and 1 Master, by comprehensively evaluating management performance and growth potential based on a performance-oriented personnel policy.


Samsung SDI explained that it carried out future-oriented executive appointments that boldly discovered and promoted next-generation leaders in each field to secure super-gap technological competitiveness, achieve the highest quality, build global business operation capabilities for qualitative growth with profitability superiority, and prepare future businesses aiming for the 2030 Global Top Tier.


To actively nurture future CEO candidates and expand diversity, Samsung SDI boldly promoted Go Jooyoung, a female general manager in her 40s who led the establishment of the next-generation product roadmap and acquisition of new customers, to vice president.


Jang Ihyun, a general manager who promoted global productivity improvement and quality innovation; Kim Kiheon, a general manager who contributed to establishing a data-driven development system; and Lee Seungwon, a general manager who laid the foundation for strengthening future business competitiveness, were promoted from general manager to vice president.


Samsung SDI stated, "We boldly discovered capable next-generation leaders with excellent functional expertise and growth potential regardless of age or years of service," and added, "We have prepared a stepping stone for strengthening business competitiveness and stable growth of global business."
