[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] S-Oil announced on the 6th that it was inducted into the Brand Management Hall of Fame at the ‘2022 Korea Management Awards’ held at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.


The ‘Korea Management Awards,’ hosted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC), has been inducting companies that have received the comprehensive grand prize for five consecutive years and serve as role models in the Korean industrial sector into the Hall of Fame.


In this year’s evaluation, S-Oil was recognized for CEO leadership, outstanding management performance, differentiated brand marketing, and ESG management achievements.


S-Oil pursues profitable sustainable growth to achieve its vision as an eco-friendly energy chemical company with the highest competitiveness and creativity.


The company explained that it has secured global competitiveness through an optimal business portfolio that maximizes economic efficiency centered on its advanced petrochemical complex facilities (RUC&ODC). In particular, it is promoting sustainable growth based on systematic ESG management.


S-Oil also conducts systematic brand management and integrated marketing activities. It provides differentiated brand experiences through advertising campaigns based on its quality philosophy of ‘Good Oil’ and brand essence of ‘Positive Energy,’ as well as SNS activities using the ‘Gudoil’ character.


By continuously improving core competencies such as quality and service?including promotions considering consumer needs and operating ‘Trust-Filled Gas Stations’ that guarantee quality?it is enhancing customer satisfaction.
