Neopin Expands Japanese Blockchain Ecosystem with Cocone Group

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Blockchain specialist company Neopin announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with Post Voyager, a blockchain subsidiary under the Japanese Kokone Group.

Post Voyager operates the P2E (Play to Earn) games "Meta Libly," "Clo Kiss," and "Janken," as well as the Mui Wallet and the non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace "Jellyme," utilizing character coordinating play (CCP) through its own blockchain network "Mui."

CCP is a service that allows users to coordinate their own characters in virtual spaces and exchange emotions with friends. Kokone, the parent company of Post Voyager, holds the top position in the CCP game genre in Japan and globally with apps such as "Pocketcolo," the undisputed number one avatar decorating app in Japan, "Hello Sweet Days," the official decorating app of Sanrio, the fashion avatar game "Sensil," the story-type puzzle game "Cat Painter Nyaho," and Disney's official decorating app "My Little Doll."

Through this agreement, Neopin plans to join hands with Post Voyager to capture the Japanese market. This provides a means to proactively approach the Japanese market, which can serve as a forward base for globalization. Additionally, it will offer existing Neopin partners opportunities to enter the Japanese market.

In the future, Neopin plans to expand its ecosystem by onboarding Kokone Group's game IP (intellectual property) into the Neopin wallet. Both companies will also collaborate on launching DeFi products between Neopin and Mui, provide technical support for building mutual platform ecosystems, and commercialize digital assets. Post Voyager also aims to convert Web2 users to Web3 with Neopin’s partners and further expand global market development through various collaborations.

Post Voyager is building a metaverse world based on GameFi and NFT marketplaces. In particular, it plans to expand its existing successful CCP services into Web3 services through the "Mui" network. Since its establishment in 2008, Kokone has introduced more than 20 diverse services in the avatar social app genre using CCP. The total cumulative number of users reaches 129 million.

Neopin, a blockchain open platform, is connecting and expanding its ecosystem through various DeFi services such as staking, yield farming, and swaps, covering games, metaverse, services, and NFTs. Based on four major strategies?crypto finance, real-life connection, gaming, and community?it plans to target the global DeFi market.
