NH Nonghyup Changnyeong County Branch, Donates 400 Bags of Rice Worth 10 Million Won... Practicing Sharing

The Changnyeong County Branch of NH Nonghyup in Gyeongnam donated 400 bags of rice (10 kg each), worth 10 million won, to Changnyeong County.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] On the 5th, the NH Nonghyup Changnyeong County Branch in Gyeongnam donated 400 bags (10kg each) of rice worth 10 million won to Changnyeong County.

The NH Nonghyup Changnyeong County Branch participates in various donation activities every year to help neighbors in need. This donation is the sixth this year, following 120 bags of rice donated last October.

Branch Manager Choi Jeong-gwon said, “I hope this helps neighbors in need not feel isolated and have a secure year-end. We will continue to show steady interest and practice sharing for a happy local community.”

County Governor Kim Bu-young said, “Warm hearts will support neighbors in need. We will continue to strive to discover welfare crisis households so that no marginalized groups are left behind.”

The 400 bags of donated rice will be delivered to low-income families in the county through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
