[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Taewon] The Korea Turfgrass Research Institute, affiliated with the Korea Golf Course Management Association, announced on the 5th that it will hold the Korea Golf Industry Show (KGIS) for three days starting from the 7th at Hall 7 of the 2nd Exhibition Center at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.
This exhibition will feature golf-related company displays along with various events such as a course management symposium and seminar, new equipment and technology presentations, turfgrass society academic presentations, and advanced education on golf course management and operation.
On the 7th, new equipment and technology presentations and Korea Turfgrass Society academic presentations will take place. On the 8th, discussions on the status of the golf industry in the post-COVID-19 era and issues related to golf course operation and course management will be held. On the 9th, advanced education on golf course management and operation will continue.
Shim Gyu-yeol, director of the Korea Turfgrass Research Institute, said, "This Golf Industry Show will serve as a catalyst for the sustainable development of the domestic golf industry," adding, "I hope it will play a significant role as a platform for information exchange within the golf industry through symposiums and seminars."
