[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] Digital healthcare company SenacleSoft announced on the 5th that it has launched 'Maoreum,' a new version of its service OrumChart.

OrumChart is a cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) system featuring a user experience (UX) optimized for medical treatment, integration with national health checkups, built-in endoscopy capture functionality, and a claims review engine.

'Maoreum' is the third major update of OrumChart aimed at creating a 'digital hospital' that is convenient for both patients and primary care institutions. Maoreum adds digital communication channels to the existing strengths of OrumChart and enhances tablet support functions such as reception, medical questionnaires, and electronic consent. Additionally, electronic signature and statistical functions improve convenience in medical treatment and administration.

When a hospital adopts OrumChart, patients can check the hospital's information and make medical appointments through Naver Place or Kakao Channel. Appointment details made by patients via Naver Place or Kakao Channel are automatically linked to OrumChart. Hospitals can provide necessary medical or appointment guidance to patients before they book through KakaoTalk's AlimTalk and FriendTalk. Patients can make medical appointments directly from the KakaoTalk message window sent by the hospital. Naver Place and Kakao Channel are easily set up when the hospital inputs its profile information within OrumChart.

When a hospital sets up its profile, a dedicated mobile homepage called 'HospitalHome' is also created. HospitalHome is assigned a unique individual internet address (URL). It is also linked with Kakao Biz Channel, providing information and reservation services such as medical staff, treatment departments, and location. This allows hospital-related information to be easily shared via KakaoTalk or social media, which can be utilized for hospital marketing.

Tablet reception functionality is also supported, simplifying the reception process while reducing the possibility of errors that may occur during manual reception and the inconvenience of paper scanning. Medical questionnaires previously done on paper can be replaced with tablet electronic questionnaires. Results of national health checkup questionnaires entered via tablet are automatically linked to OrumChart, and the automatic consent function can also be used.

Park Chanhee, co-CEO of SenacleSoft, stated, "To expand digital communication channels between patients and hospitals, we introduced a Kakao package that enables easy initial setup of hospital profiles and mobile HospitalHome, integration with Naver Place and Naver Reservation, and configuration and reservation linkage of Kakao hospital channels." He emphasized, "Maoreum supports digital transformation and hospital management efficiency tailored to primary care institutions."
