Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Produces 25 Smart Factory Convergence Software Developers

[Asia Economy (Siheung) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation held a final project presentation and completion ceremony for the industry-academia cooperation of trainees in the "Youth Digital New Technology Core Talent Training Project" in the smart factory field on the 3rd.

The foundation previously conducted the "Youth Digital New Technology Core Talent Training Course in the Smart Factory Field" for six months from May to December.

At the presentation, groups introduced topics that could be used as employment portfolios, including ▲ 11st, LS Electric Co., Ltd. SureSort parcel sorting service ▲ Cody Information & Communication video recognition logistics transport assistant robot ▲ Hanwha Systems mechanical equipment status analysis and predictive maintenance solution ▲ LG Group D&O, Hyundai AutoEver display raw material real-time price inquiry and contract management service ▲ Miracom I&C seafood sorting system.

The foundation selected outstanding presentation teams and awarded commendations from the foundation's CEO and the Siheung mayor to excellent trainees.

A foundation official said, "This training is meaningful in that all applicants completed the course without any dropouts," and added, "The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation plans to continuously support linked employment for these graduates according to the smart factory specialist recruitment demand of industrial complexes and companies by region."

Meanwhile, the completion ceremony held at the Siheung Youth Collaboration Village was attended by Jo Eun-ju, head of the foundation's Youth Job Headquarters, and officials from LS Electric Co., Ltd. and Hanwha Systems.
