Senior Spokesperson Park Jeong-ha issued a statement that day, saying, "Former Blue House National Security Office Director Seo Hoon was arrested early this morning," and criticized, "As the top official in the security line, instead of protecting our people, he neglected them to the point of death, hastily concluding Northward Defection while being preoccupied with appeasing the Kim Jong-un regime, even committing a character assassination."
