Nongga Jubu Association, Yeongyang-gun Federation, Donates Scholarship Funds to Talent Development Scholarship Foundation

The Nongga Housewives Association Yeongyang County Federation donated scholarship funds to the Yeongyang County Talent Development Scholarship Foundation on the 2nd.

At the donation ceremony, Kwon Sook-hee, president of the Yeongyang County Federation of Farm Housewives' Associations, expressed the purpose of the donation, saying, "I thank all the members who have united their intentions to help students in need, and I hope this small contribution will be of help to the students who will lead the future of Yeongyang County."

The Farm Housewives' Association is an organization established by the Nonghyup (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation) where women engaged in farming cooperate to invigorate rural life, motivate advanced farming activities, and contribute to the promotion of rural welfare and community development.

In the county, it consists of about 250 members across six towns and townships, contributing to community development through various activities such as helping with farm labor and assisting vulnerable groups.

The Yeongyang County Talent Development Scholarship Foundation utilizes donated funds and accumulated scholarship funds contributed by various sectors to implement projects such as excellent guest lecturer programs for farming and fishing villages, educational environment improvement projects, and scholarship programs for outstanding local students.
