Until February 4 Next Year... New Quizzes Continue to Be Released
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] GS25 announced on the 2nd that it will start a "Digital Citizenship Campaign" on the 5th in collaboration with the metaverse platform Roblox to promote positive relationship building and the enhancement of proper civic awareness.
This campaign will be conducted in the form of missions within GS25's convenience store simulation experience "Gather! GS25," which Roblox community members can use for free on Roblox. The missions are designed to solve quizzes related to digital citizenship and to teach users how to experience the metaverse positively and safely. Users who complete the missions will receive a golden key that can be exchanged for special Roblox items.
The special Roblox items include three designs: a durumagi shaped like a triangular gimbap, an Omori kimchi stew ramen belt, and a gat printed with the GS25 logo. These items creatively combine Korean traditions with GS25 products for a fun design. The campaign will run until February 4th of next year, with new quizzes continuously being released.
A GS Retail official stated, "Strengthening users' digital citizenship in an anonymous virtual reality environment is the foundation for the growth of the metaverse," and added, "We will continue to conduct campaigns in various ways to provide positive digital experiences to metaverse users."
