Korea Senior Research Institute Receives Minister of SMEs and Startups Award for 'Rechallenge Activation Merit' CEO Jin-Yeol Lee

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Silver tech company Korea Senior Research Institute (CEO Lee Jin-yeol) announced on the 2nd that it received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in recognition of its contribution to revitalizing re-challenges.


Korea Senior Research Institute won the award in the re-challenge entrepreneur category among the awards for contributions to revitalizing re-challenges, succeeding in re-startup based on entrepreneurial spirit. CEO Lee Jin-yeol founded Korea Senior Research Institute as his second startup following the global fandom service 'MyDoll'.


After his first startup failure, he seized an opportunity within the larger framework of demographic changes. While reviewing various businesses related to aging, he discovered the 'home care' market and established the current Korea Senior Research Institute. Korea Senior Research Institute provides various online and offline infrastructures and solutions to home care institutions, including the home care brand 'Smile Senior'.


CEO Lee said, "Startup is about accumulating one small success learned from 99 obvious failures," adding, "We will continue to challenge ourselves to innovate the home care market, the forefront of aging, through Korea Senior Research Institute."
