President Yoon's Approval Rating Recovers to Mid-30% Range... "Jumps 5.6%p"

[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating for his administration showed a significant increase, recovering to the mid-30% range.

According to a public opinion poll released on the 2nd by Media Tomato (conducted by wireless ARS method from the 28th to the 30th for three days nationwide targeting 1,037 adults aged 18 and over, commissioned by News Tomato), positive evaluations of President Yoon's governance reached 35.5% (15.5% very well, 20.0% generally well). This is a 5.6 percentage point increase compared to last week's regular survey.

Negative evaluations were 62.6% (54% very poorly, 8.6% generally poorly), down 4.7 percentage points from last week.

Regarding trust in President Yoon's administration, 37.7% responded that they trust him, while 60.7% responded that they do not.

In party support, the Democratic Party of Korea's approval rating fell by 1.8 percentage points to 49.5% compared to the previous survey. The People Power Party rose by 3.6 percentage points to 35.3%.
