[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] The severe cold wave that arrived late is expected to continue on the 2nd.


The lowest temperature on the morning of the 2nd is forecast to be between -13℃ and 1℃, and the highest temperature during the day is expected to be between 0℃ and 9℃.


The expected lowest and highest temperatures in major cities are: Seoul -7℃ and 2℃, Incheon -6℃ and 2℃, Daejeon -6℃ and 4℃, Gwangju -2℃ and 7℃, Daegu -4℃ and 6℃, Ulsan -1℃ and 7℃, and Busan 0℃ and 9℃.


There will be snowfall in some areas along the west coast of Chungnam and Jeolla provinces until dawn. In Jeju Island, occasional snow or rain is expected until morning. The expected snowfall amount is less than 5mm.


Due to smooth atmospheric dispersion, fine dust concentration levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.


Sea waves are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters. The wave height in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) is forecast to be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
