[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 1st, Korea National Oil Corporation delivered 350 home first aid kits worth 10 million KRW to Jung-gu Office in Ulsan to support initial accident response for safety-vulnerable households in the region.
The first aid kits delivered this time consist of 18 items including hydrogen peroxide, disinfectant ethanol, bandages, adhesive bandages, and mixed bandages, designed to be useful in case of injuries or other accidents.
In particular, the kits were purchased and supported as products made by persons with severe disabilities and social enterprises, aiming to simultaneously support sales channels for small and medium-sized enterprises struggling due to COVID-19.
At the delivery ceremony, Cho Seong-sang, General Affairs Director of the Oil Corporation, said, “We hope the delivered first aid kits will help in accident response in the daily lives of safety-vulnerable households,” and added, “The corporation will continue to make steady efforts to establish a community safety net.”
The Oil Corporation has selected safety and environment as one of its core areas of social contribution and actively carries out activities such as providing safety supplies to safety-vulnerable households annually, safety inspections in vulnerable areas like traditional markets, home repair volunteer work, environmental improvement of villages near storage bases, and marine environment conservation activities.
