TVING, Starting Anew with Season "Watch 'New Recruit' and 'Gaus Electronics' Here"

Prize Event and Product Benefits for Existing Season Subscribers

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Tving announced that starting on the 1st, the merger date with KT Season, major content such as Season's dramas, entertainment shows, and movies will also be available on Tving.

Tving resolved the merger plan with KT Season at the board meeting on July 14. The merger method is an absorption-type merger where Tving absorbs KT Season, and the Season service will end on the 31st of this month.

Major Season content available on Tving includes the real military drama that gained great popularity, "Sinbyeong," the office comedy about the marketing department of Gaus Electronics, "Gaus Electronics," the romantic detective investigation drama featuring a super-rich detective and a job seeker, "Good Job," the realistic survival romance between a dating reality PD and a cast member who are official close friends, "Eoljuka Yeonae Ddawi," the growth drama of young adults declaring a life strike in their 20s, "Amugeotdo Hago Sipji Ana," and popular domestic works as well as overseas hits such as the "Spider-Man" series, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," the "Ghostbusters" series, and the "Resident Evil" series, all of which will be released from this day.

Users who used Season through KT Mobile plans and additional services can watch the content via their Tving accounts. Former "Season Plain" subscribers can use Tving as "Tving Light," and "Season Mix" subscribers can use "Tving Basic." Tving Light is a KT-exclusive product that allows access to Tving live channels, TV programs, and Tving exclusive content, and Tving's original content will be available until the first half of next year.

Events have also been prepared to coincide with the merger. Among users who used Season through KT Mobile plans and additional services and registered their accounts on Tving, 70,000 subscribers will receive CU mobile gift certificates on a first-come, first-served basis, and various gifts such as Paradise City accommodation vouchers and Godiva cakes will be given through a lottery. Additionally, 100 users who leave reviews on Tving content will be given coffee coupons through a lottery.

A Tving official stated, "We plan to continuously strengthen platform competitiveness with diverse content that will satisfy both Season users and Tving subscribers."
