[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kumho Petrochemical announced on the 1st that it has donated Hugreen windows worth 86 million KRW to Hyojeong Vision Town, a welfare facility for the disabled in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Kumho Petrochemical improves the living environment of the disabled by annually replacing windows in welfare facilities for the disabled, which urgently need window replacement, with Hugreen products in cooperation with the Seoul Association of Welfare Facilities for the Disabled.
Hyojeong Vision Town's existing windows were made of aluminum, making it difficult to block outside air in the rapidly cold weather. The facility was in a poor environment where users were easily exposed to respiratory diseases, and it is reported that the facility also felt burdened by heating costs.
Baek Jong-hoon, CEO of Kumho Petrochemical, said, "As the winter season begins in earnest, we hope everyone has a warm winter with Hugreen windows that have excellent insulation performance."
