Digital Innovation Activation ... Dong-Eui University AI Grand ICT Research Center Signs Agreement with Busan Transportation Corporation and Others

Representatives from Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, Busan Transportation Corporation, Pusan National University Southeast Region Grand ICT Research Center, Busan Technopark, and Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency are signing an MOU and taking a group commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] The Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center at Dong-Eui University signed an MOU on the 24th at the Busan Transportation Corporation meeting room with six organizations, including Busan Transportation Corporation, to collaborate on technology development for railway advancement and digital innovation.

The organizations that signed the agreement include Busan Transportation Corporation, Busan National University Southeast Region Grand ICT Research Center, Busan Technopark, Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency, and Boseong Innovation.

According to the agreement, the organizations plan to mutually cooperate on research and technology development related to ▲solving regional transportation environment issues ▲data utilization research ▲urban railway ICT application technologies ▲building digital innovation infrastructure.

Jung Seokchan, director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center at Dong-Eui University, stated, “The introduction of digital technology in various urban sectors is essential in the era of digital transformation,” adding, “We will work together with the participating organizations to establish advanced transportation infrastructure in Busan and ensure the safety and convenience of citizens.”

Attending the signing ceremony were Jung Seokchan, director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center at Dong-Eui University; Jo Eunje, head of the Technology Headquarters at Busan Transportation Corporation; Kim Jongdeok, deputy director of the Southeast Region Grand ICT Research Center at Busan National University; Nam Byunghyuk, team leader of the Digital Innovation Startup Group at Busan Technopark; Kim Junsu, head of the Digital Innovation Headquarters at Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency; Shim Kyungbo, CEO of Boseong Innovation; and officials from each organization.
